Exterior
- Entry porch
- Light columns and the porch roof frame the central entrance.
- Front steps
- Red steps connect the front path with the entry porch.
- Brick facade
- Red brick contrasts with the light trim and columns.
Kitchen
- Hand-finished butcher block
- We hand-finished the butcher block countertop. Its natural tone adds warmth and highlights the contrast between the black and white cabinetry.
- Sink and faucet
- The rectangular black sink and dark faucet sit beneath the window.
- Wood-look flooring
- We installed wood-look flooring over a separate underlayment laid by our team. Its warm tone connects the kitchen with the adjoining room.
- Custom upper cabinets
- The black upper cabinets were custom-made and brought from Miami. Their dark finish contrasts with the white base cabinets.
- White base cabinets
- White base cabinets organize storage behind clean-lined fronts. Their light color balances the black upper cabinets and the warmth of the wood countertop.
- LED lighting
- Ceiling-mounted LED lighting illuminates the work area while keeping the space visually uncluttered.
- 12 × 24 ceramic backsplash
- The dark 12 × 24 ceramic backsplash frames the window and complements the contrast between the black cabinetry, wood and white cabinet fronts.
Bathroom
- Basin and vanity
- A white basin and black faucet sit above a dark vanity.
- Wall finish
- Vertical strips alternate dark and warm tones along the lower walls.
- 24 × 48 ceramic tile
- The floor features 24 × 48-inch ceramic tiles in a light, softly veined finish. The large format creates a sense of continuity through the bathroom.
- Bathtub
- A white bathtub completes the bathing area. Its light finish contrasts with the black accents and wood-tone wall finish.
- Three-panel mirror
- A three-panel mirror above the basin adds depth and reflects light through the room.
- Three-light vanity fixture
- Three lights with glass shades and a black frame illuminate the mirror and complement the dark faucet.
Bedroom
- Wood-look flooring
- We installed wood-look flooring over a separate underlayment laid by our team. Its grain pattern and warm tone complement the bedroom’s light walls and natural light.
- Ceiling fan with light
- The dark ceiling fan includes a central light above the room.
- Windows
- Light frames surround the room’s two windows.
Room with a sloped ceiling
- Sloped ceiling
- The ceiling slope defines the room’s volume.
- Ceiling fan with light
- The dark fan and its central light contrast with the light ceiling.
- Flooring
- Warm-toned flooring runs through the room to the area beside the window.
Room and shelving
- Shelving
- White shelves fill a wall recess and are paired with a dark surface.
- Opening to the kitchen
- The wide opening, with rounded upper corners, connects this room to the kitchen.
- Continuous flooring
- The same floor tone is visible in this room and the adjoining kitchen.
